The Center Reports Team oversees nine reports needed from each center regularly. Most of these reports are required by law for us to keep.
The Calendar Team is responsible for assuring All Centers keep their Center Annual Calendar as well as monthly. This includes the Finance Calendar as well as their Centers Guest Arrivals, Board and CAC meetings, School terms and Holidays, along with IHF Center and community activities. Also includes the legal government forms due regularly. The Team also looks after the IHF International Calendar.
Donated Hours is another important Center Team. It tracks Volunteers donated hours and how spent.
This team collects and records each team and each IHF centers meeting minutes. Keeping them organized in their mailbox. And noting persistent problems or patterns to address.
Time off Team tracks the Center Reports and Sponsor letters that need to be done before Holidays. It does not review the reports ( Center Reports does this)— but tracks that all reports have been sent in. The team also tracks Holidays and monthly Time off well deserved by our amazing local staff & Volunteers, GLD and Directors.
Center Manuals team makes sure all centers keep their manuals updated. This includes Center Manuals for SAFETY and those for Volunteers and Co Directors and Directors.
This group helps you know more about our precious children by having constant updates of their info including but not limited to bio, background, health, education and their latest photos.
The sponsor letters team is responsible for the letters between children and their sponsors.
This team works with projected Fundraisers 6-12 months advance up to day of event, as well as helping with At Center Volunteers Local Events. Coordinating with Center Directors and GLD .
The farm team calendars the planting seasons and needs of the farm including care of Cows goats and chickens. This team Works with Grants team and In kind Team for seeds and supplies. Works with Finance team in calculating the costs and benefits analysis needed for grants. Works with local volunteers for planting and harvesting and community needs.
This team mentors to the children. It is mainly focused on the Kenya Center Children. The Kenya Center has ongoing problems with Internet connectivity and power outages. This makes the phone calls between children and mentors difficult for the team. But it means so much to the children- so they keep trying. Onsite Mentoring w Locals continues along with “ Study Buddies” who help mentor children with homework also.
This team helps to facilitate and maintain the CAC and its needs. It sends out the invitation and agenda items for its Seasonal Meetings four times a year, in Conjunction with the Pass It On Ceremonies. The CAC Team is also responsible for sharing information from IHFs important PASS IT ON CEREMONIES at each Center.
Nakuru Friends Team consists of the Volunteers residing around Nakuru who wish to belong to this Chatroom. It is up to them if they wish to meet together at a cafe or elsewhere occasionally. It is not needed. The Chatroom provides a way for At Home and Local Volunteers to communicate and meet as they desire , or not. Anyone is welcome. All Nakuru Volunteers are precious and valuable to us.
Nairobi Friends Team consists of the Volunteers residing around Nairobi who wish to belong to this Chatroom. It is up to them if they wish to meet together at a cafe or elsewhere occasionally. It is not needed. The Chatroom provides a way for At Home and Local Volunteers to communicate and meet as they desire , or not. Anyone is welcome. GLD/DIRECTORS TEAM. This Team meets weekly. It Consists of All IHF Directors and GLD. Each member takes a turn at leading for one month on a rotational basis. The team meets weekly. Every other week as a team and once a month with Legal Team and the other fourth week with a relevant Team Leader from teams such as Finance or Education etc. The teams discussed and votes on various issues
