Education Division

The Education Division at IHF focuses on supporting students’ learning, development, and overall well-being at the center.
It is made up of four key teams: the Education Team, Mentor Team, Parents Team, and Kenya at Center Team, each playing a unique supportive role.
Together, they create a structured, nurturing environment that promotes both academic growth and personal development.

Mentors Team

This team mentors to the children. It is mainly focused on the Kenya Center Children. The Kenya Center has ongoing problems with Internet connectivity and power outages. This makes the phone calls between children and mentors difficult for the team. But it means so much to the children- so they keep trying. Onsite Mentoring w Locals continues along with “ Study Buddies” who help mentor children with homework also.

This team consists of locals and those volunteers present at the center. They support educational activities, mentorship, and the smooth running of programs at the center.
Their presence ensures strong community connection and consistent, hands-on support for learners.

The Education Team at IHF is responsible for planning and delivering learning programs that support students’ academic growth.
They design lessons, facilitate classes, and provide mentorship to enhance the learning experience.
Their work ensures quality education and meaningful development for all learners at the center.

The Parents Team at IHF consists of volunteers who take on a caregiving and mentorship role for the children.
They provide guidance, emotional support, and help supervise daily activities, much like parental figures.
Their presence creates a safe, nurturing environment that supports the children’s overall well-being.
