Brian Lochembe has been with IHF since he was 6 years old. Brian was born deaf and spends most the year at a specialist boarding school in Nakuru town. He is currently studying Kenyan Sign Language, Maths, English and woodwork. His dream is to work with computers. Lochembe is a very hardworking and dedicated person. When at home he is a integral part of the IHF family always making jokes, playing and teasing the younger children. To relax he enjoys cooking and playing football. Being born deaf in a traditional community like Pokot can be a difficult start to life, however Lochembe continues to defy the odds and to push his boundaries whilst being fiercely independent.
